Equal(R) proudly states that it contains "0 Calories" when, in fact, as it stated on its old packets, it really contains "4 calories." The FDA changed its regualtions, probably as the result of industry lobbying, and now permits food companies to deceive consumers and say the product contains no calories when it actually contains calories, which pirates another phrase, "truth in advertising."
