semi-automatic
Something is either automatic or it isn't. Commonly used when describing 'self-reloading' arms. I wouldn't say I semi-crashed my car because I semi-hit and semi-killed your cat. The cat is alive or dead, no semi about it. A little car crash is still a crash.
