Presently means in the near future, as in, "I'll take the garbage out presently." It was pirated at least 20 years ago and is misused in stead of "currently".
Often, it's not necessary to use "currently" at all - excess verbiage. (e.g. "She is currently CEO of Pirates & Co." means the same thing if "currently" is deleted.)
