feel well
OK, this hasn't been pirated so much as made up by people who want to sound smarter or classier than they really are. 'Well' is an adverb; therefore, in the phrase "I don't feel well", 'well' modifies the verb, 'feel'. In other words, "My sense of touch is deficient". "I don't feel good" may not sound as classy, but isn't it more correct? Good, as an adjective, modifies 'I', meaning "I feel ill". Take that, snooty pirates.
