bipartisan
An instance where both (major US) political parties cooperated on an effort. It has been coopted to mean "Agreeing with my position." Politicians from both US parties misuse this word constantly when attempting to put members of the opposing party in a bad light. (Though both parties are egregiously guilty of this, Congressional Democrats during the Clinton Administration raised this to a high art.)
